About Nepal

Nepal is located in South Asian region and shares its borders with India and China. It is a landlocked country with 30 million populations. Kathmandu is the capital city.

Nepal is famous for Mt. Everest, the highest peak in the world, and Lumbini, the birth place of the Buddha. Pashupatinath temple, one of most important shrines of Hindus lies in Kathmandu.

Nepal is a country of diversity. Different cultures, many religions, countless festivals and various ethnic people make Nepal a unique yet adorable country. Social harmony is reflected in the form of unity in diversity.

In less than a length of hundred meters, Nepal’s geography extends from the low land, just 75 meters above the sea level, to highest peak on earth (Mt. Everest 8848 m).
